Greengill Campsite

Greengill Campsite is a small campsite in an idyllic location in the Eden Valley, with a panoramic view of Cross Fell and the North Pennines.

The campsite is a perfect hideaway for couples, families and friends. The level grass site is sheltered, but receives all-day sunshine and is bounded by the small Greengill Beck, trees and green fields. Visitors are welcome to sit in the neighbouring orchard, walk around the wild-flower meadow and play games on the mown grass area.

The site is a certified location of the Camping & Caravanning Club.

Facilities include:

• 5 motorhome or caravan pitches with electric hook-ups (2 hard-standing, 3 grass).
• Up to 10 grass tent pitches
• A covered fresh water and hot water washing-up area
• A shower & toilet
• Chemical waste disposal
• Laundry facilities on request
• A secure bike store on request
• A BBQ, you will need to bring your own utensils
• Dog-friendly. All well behaved dogs are welcome. They must be kept on a lead, and all poops scooped.

Entry is through two stone gateways. The narrowest point is 9'4" (112") wide, suitable for large vehicles.

Greengill Bunk Barn

The neighbouring bunk barn sleeps up to 16 in two bunk rooms of 8, and can be combined with the campsite for non-campers in the group.

Booking and Availability

The full campsite is open all year. It can accommodate up to 5 camper vans or caravans, and up to 10 tents.

Rates include awnings and the use of showers, toilets and washing-up facilities

• £25 per vehicle or tent per night, including electric hook up.(or £10 per single-occupancy tent without hook-up)
• Price includes two adults and children under 16. Extra adults are £5 pppn
• One vehicle or tent per pitch
• £5 extra per night charge for awnings
• Arrival from 2pm, departure by 12 noon
• Charges / balance payments are payable per advanced bank transfer or in cash on arrival
